scrap silver on my birthday
Sometimes we have those strange, peculiar I would say, situations in life when we do not really know how to behave. How to react to those situations. I had this kind of situation quite a few days ago when I was celebrating my twenty-first birthday. It is a custom in my family that the whole family comes when somebody has birthday. Frankly speaking, I hate that but I cannot do anything about that because even if I told my mother that I do not want to organize this huge party again, she would answer that this is a long tradition which will be cultivated for years. So obviously my whole family came to our house to celebrate my birthday and the only good thing about that was the fact that I was given lots of presents. Unfortunately, some of those presents were rather bizarre. Thus, in a few cases I did not really know what to say to the person who gave me this strange present. My uncle gave me a little bit of scrap silver on my birthday. I did not know what to say about that. I only thanked him for the scrap silver and later I could easily see that he was mad that I did not get excited that he gave me such a nice present. I do not even know what to do with that scrap silver now.
